Richard Blais’ Easy Individual Apple Pies

Here’s an apple pie you can have all to yourself without feeling guilty! Learn how to make these personal apple pies at home!

Richard Blais’ Easy Individual Apple Pies
Serves 6


6 apples, cored and chopped
¼ cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons apple pie spice or ras el hanout
3 tablespoons apple sauce
1 ½ cups crunchy granola
Whipped cream, for serving


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a large bowl, toss apples with sugar and set aside. Place butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until melted. Add apple mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are slightly softened, 4 to 5 minutes; stir in applesauce.

3. Divide apple mixture evenly among six 8-ounce baking dishes. Top each with a ¼ cup of your favorite crunch granola. Serve immediately with whipped cream.
