Recipe: Burgess Brothers’ BBQ Salmon
Learn how to make the Burgess Brothers’ delicious BBQ Salmon using their BBQ sauce — which they affectionately refer to as “Love in the bottle.”
Serves 2 to 4
2 (8-ounces) salmon fillets, skin-on
½ cup mild Burgess Brothers BBQ sauce
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 to 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
¼ cup olive oil
Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
1. Place salmon and BBQ sauce in a large resealable plastic bag; seal and transfer to refrigerator to marinate at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.
2. Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove salmon from marinade and transfer each fillet to a piece of aluminum foil; season with salt and pepper.
3. In a medium bowl, mix together garlic and olive oil and pour over fillets. Loosely wrap each fillet in the foil and transfer to grill. Place over indirect heat and cook until salmon is opaque, 20 to 25 minutes.
4. Remove from grill, unwrap foil packets, and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
