Joe Isidori’s Bam Bam Milkshake

Get ready for a sugar rush! Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori of NYC’s Black Tap restaurant came by Pickler & Ben to make one of his signature Crazy Shakes – the “Bam Bam,” named for its Fruity Pebbles flavor. Learn to make this over-the-top milkshake at home!

Bam Bam Milkshake
Serves 1 to 2


1/3 cup vanilla frosting
1 ¾ cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
1 ¾ cup premium vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup whole milk
Whipped cream, for serving
1 strawberry-flavored toaster pastry, halved
1 Fruity Pebbles cereal bar (homemade or store-bought)
1 Nerd (candy) Ropes
1 maraschino cherry


1. Coat the rim of a chilled 16-ounce old-fashioned soda fountain glass with a heavy base with vanilla frosting. Place 1 cup of the Fruity Pebbles in a shallow dish. Dip frosted rim into shallow dish with cereal pressing to coat. Set glass aside.

2. Place ice cream, milk, and remaining ¾ cup Fruity Pebbles in the jar of a blender; blend until smooth. Transfer to prepared soda fountain glass. Top with whipped cream, toaster pastry, cereal bars, Nerd Rope, and cherry. Serve immediately with 1 or 2 straws.
