Jason Smith’s Slap Yo Pumpkintini Cocktail Recipe
Celebrate the season with this spiced and sweet cocktail from chef Jason Smith. Rimming the glass in syrup and graham crackers is optional, but well worth the extra effort. Watch “Lord Honey” make it on our IGTV page!
Slap Yo Pumpkintini
Makes 1 cocktail
Crushed graham cracker
Pumpkin pie spice
1 ounce pure maple syrup, plus more for the glass
3 ice cubes
2 ounces bourbon
1 ounce vanilla vodka
1 ounce half-and-half
2 tablespoons pure pumpkin puree
Freshly grated nutmeg
1. In a shallow bowl, mix together enough graham cracker, pie spice, and sugar to coat one glass. In a separate shallow bowl, add enough maple syrup to coat one glass. Dip a martini glass in the syrup and then coat in the graham cracker mixture.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, maple syrup, bourbon, vodka, half-and-half, and pumpkin. Shake vigorously until well combined and chilled.
3. Strain into the prepared martini glass, and garnish with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
