Frozen Peanut Butter and Banana Chocolate Bites

In need of a sweet treat? Look no further than these fruity and nutty bites from Conagra chef Catherine De Orio. Feel free to swap out the crunchy peanut butter for smooth peanut butter, if that’s your thing. Both work delightfully well.

Frozen Peanut Butter and Banana Chocolate Bites
Makes about 24

3 firm medium bananas, peeled and sliced 1/4-inch thick (about 48 slices)
1/2 cup Peter Pan Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter
10 ounces high-quality dark chocolate (70% or higher cacao), chopped
Sea salt
Freeze-dried berries
Hemp seeds
Chopped nuts

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Take one slice of banana, top with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter, top with another slice of banana and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining banana slices. Freeze 2 hours to overnight.

3. In a glass bowl set over pot of boiling water, place chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.

4. Using a fork, dip frozen banana bites in chocolate to coat, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Return to baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt, berries, hemp seeds, and/or chopped nuts. Repeat with remaining banana bites and place in to freezer. Once chocolate is set, transfer to airtight storage container and store in the freezer until ready to eat.
