Dr. Travis Stork’s Split-Second Nachos

This super fast and easy snack is from Dr. Travis Stork’s book, “The Lose Your Belly Diet: Change Your Gut, Change Your Life.” He recommends Beanitos chips, or chips that are higher in fiber and protein. Melting the cheese is optional, but makes a warm treat on a cool day. 

Split-Second Nachos
Serves 4

Ingredients

Black or pinto beans
Beanitos chips
Shredded cheddar cheese
Salsa
Guacamole
Greek yogurt

Directions

1. Sprinkle black beans straight from the can onto chips. Sprinkle with cheese and heat in the microwave on high until cheese is melted, if desired. Top with salsa, guacamole, and a dollop of yogurt.
